Silvana Malpelli serves as the
Director of Relocation at Brown Harris Stevens. She is responsible for
the day-to-day operations, as well as business development in the
Division. Devoted to giving the finest and highest level of customer
service, she is a tireless advocate for all her clients to make sure
their move is seamless. Services are designed with the relocating
executive in mind. White glove, high-touch service is combined with
high-tech tools to ensure that each receives the level of quality that
is synonymous with the Brown Harris Stevens name. She handles the needs
of both incoming and outgoing referrals, third party business,
corporate managed properties, group moves/presentations, corporate
clients and internet customer service. A perfectionist who has
counseled and assisted hundreds of satisfied transferees and clients,
she uses all resources available to her to make sure the move is
handled properly. She also speaks Italian and Spanish fluently and
loves to use her foreign language skills with international
clients.
Silvana recently received the GMS (Global Mobility Specialist) through ERC. This program was introduced in 2003 to formally recognize an individual's competency in global workforce mobility. It requires awareness of the various types of international assignment policies and practices, tax and immigration issues related to global workforce mobility, intercultural implications of international assignments and servicing diverse markets and global teamwork.
A life long resident of New York, she has been in the real
estate/relocation industry for over 16 years, bringing a wealth of
experience with her. In her first year in the industry as a Sales
Associate, she won the "Rookie of the Year Award". She was recently
appointed to Empire "Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women".
Silvana is a Licensed Associate Broker in the State of New York, earned
the prestigious CRP (Certified Relocation Professional) and GMS (Global Mobility Specialist) from ERC, and
holds the RCC (Relocation Certified Counselor) from Leading Real Estate
Companies of the World. She has served on countless committees and is a
member of TRS, RIS, ERC, and REBNY.
Silvana is a tireless supporter of the American Cancer Society and has
served as past team leader for the Making Strides for Breast Cancer
Walk. She is also a hospice volunteer at Westchester Putnam Hospice and
a volunteer at Northern Westchester Hospital Center. In the past, she
was involved with coordinating and delivering meals for RealtorShare, a
program that delivers holiday meals to families in temporary distress.
