Bob Deutsch has been involved in the Real Estate profession since 1984. Before that time he was a successful photojournalist. His photographs have appeared and continue to appear in such publications as Time, Newsweek, Look and Life magazines. In 1982 he purchased a rundown Brownstone in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. During the course of the next year, he got involved with its renovation and restoration. The endeavor was so successful that the house was included in the prestigious Park Slope House Tour. The knowledge gained from the renovation led him to consider a career change. When a change beckoned, real estate became the logical choice. In 1984, Bob began working in sales in a real estate office in Brooklyn Heights and within a year he was managing that office. His knowledge gained from dealing with contractors, plumbers, electricians, designers, roofers, fireplace reliners, Landmark personnel and others in the real estate industry, as well as his keen artistic eye developed during his career as a photojournalist have helped him to be successful in his profession. And today he is a Vice President with Brown Harris Stevens.
