A native of Lisbon and fluent in six languages - Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German and English - Guida De Carvalhosa has a dramatic and fascinating life story. She is the sole survivor of a 1961 airplane crash in Brazil in which ninety-nine people died. For three years she was recuperating in a clinic in Switzerland. Once recovered, she spent fourteen years in Paris, and then traveled all over the world for two years. Guida De Carvalhosa has lived in the United States since 1978 and has more than twenty-five years of experience selling luxury co-ops, condominiums and townhouses. She has developed an extensive knowledge of co-op boards on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side and their requirements. She had the exclusive listing of the Fairfax apartment at the Pierre Hotel, the most important apartment in New York. Her clientele consist of those for whom quality and confidentiality are a given.
