Lee Solomon is an expert at pairing the perfect property with the perfect buyer. After she bought and renovated her first townhouse in Park Slope in 1992, she fell in love with Brooklyn and found many of her friends houses, co-ops, and condos in the area. She has encyclopedic knowledge of the entire renovation process, having renovated a 1920's Roman Catholic Church, an upstate farmhouse and five historic Brooklyn townhouses.
Lee came to Brooklyn originally to work as Spike Lee's assistant in Fort Greene. For many years after that she was a network and cable television news producer. Additionally she worked as a television producer on Al Gore and John Kerry's Presidential campaigns. She was a co-founder and co-organizer of moveOn.org's BushIn30seconds campaign. And every four years, on her days off, she keeps up with the fast paced world of Presidential elections by occasionally producing live television interviews around the country for the Democratic Presidential candidates.
Lee feels strongly that both buyers and sellers are best served when they establish a relationship with a real estate agent they trust. She would be happy to assist you with all of your real estate needs. Consistently one of the top producing brokers in her office, Lee handles real estate transactions throughout many Brooklyn neighborhoods, including Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Fort Greene, Windsor Terrace, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Bay Ridge, Boerum Hill, Ditmas Park, Gowanus, Greenpoint and Williamsburg. And lately she has been working with clients looking to buy and sell in Manhattan as well.
Lee is something of an expert on green building options. While her most recent renovation project wasn't LEED rated, it did incorporate many green building techniques, including the installation of Solar roof panels to generate electricity.
