Vice President Rich Shade brings over 20 years of real estate experience to every deal. Earning a degree in Finance from the University of Southern California in 1986, Rich got his start with Arthur Andersen and Co.'s mergers and acquisitions group. A few years later, he became the Project Manager with Urban West Communities/Huntington Beach Company on the Holly Seacliff, a 4,000 unit subdivision of luxury golf course homes in Orange County, California. He then moved to New York to become an asset manager with Mitsui Real Estate Sales where he managed the bank's trophy properties: 777 Madison and the Short Hills Hilton and Spa. Eight years ago, he began his residential sales career and he's been working in the Downtown market ever since. Consistently a top producer, Rich works with both buyers and sellers. He directed on-site sales for projects including The Smith Gray building in Williamsburg and 56 Pine Street in the Financial District – which Rich calls home. An active member with the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Rich continues his residential sales career by joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2006 as a Vice President in the TriBeCa office, serving the downtown luxury market with professionalism and in-depth knowledge.
