A graduate of UC Berkeley and with a law degree from Benjamin Cardozo in New York, Shirley is also an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and is listed in "Who's Who of American Women,"and "Who's Who In America." She has been actively involved in her community and with numerous philanthropic activities throughout her years in New York City. Shirley was one of the founding members of the Children's Air Center at New York Hospital and currently serves as a Board member of the American Symphony Orchestra.
