Since starting in New York real estate in 1979, Wolf has sold in excess of $1 billion worth of townhouses. For 7 of the last 8 years, including 2009, Wolf was recognized for selling the most townhouses among all Brown Harris Stevens brokers.
Starting out as a principal in small building acquisitions, Wolf earned his broker designation in 1981. As founder of The New York Co-op and Condo Exchange, he anticipated the proliferation of cooperative and condominium apartment ownership in Manhattan. Focusing his practice on Manhattan townhouses, Wolf has negotiated hundreds of building transactions, both as a principal and as a broker. In addition to his inside knowledge of the Manhattan residential market, he is known for his extensive practical knowledge of landlord/tenant laws, real estate legal issues, landmark matters, and construction and renovation questions. By consulting with professionals in various fields who know and appreciate his business manner, Wolf is able to help find answers to his clients' questions. These specialists become invaluable resources to his clients.
His reputation and acclaim has brought Wolf attention in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, The Robb Report, New York Magazine, television, and radio. On Wolf's client list are renowned education and financial institutions from the United States and abroad, corporate leaders and famous personalities. Wolf is now sought out for his expertise by not only American buyers and sellers, but also those from Europe, Asia and South America.
In addition, Wolf has consistently been among the top five brokers in the West side office. Wolf works with an associate, Elizabeth Logue, who has been a successful agent with Brown Harris Stevens for the last three years.
Wolf also publishes the highly acclaimed newsletter, Wolf's New Townhouse News, to a circulation of nearly 8,000 subscribers.
