Nancy Elias began her career in the real estate industry in 1978 as a listing clerk. She soon obtained her salesperson's license and went on to get her broker's license. She has been with Brown Harris Stevens as a top-selling broker for 11 years.

Her early experience provided her with wonderful training for the future. As a listing clerk she was responsible for gathering data: calling sellers to obtain their listings to bring into the office for the salespeople to sell. She walked up and down Park Avenue and Fifth Avenue and eventually became familiar with every building on the Upper East Side from 57th Street to 96th Street and from Fifth Avenue to the River. She learned the business from the bottom up.

Nancy is an exuberant person who enjoys the sharing and trust involved in her ever-expanding business.

Nancy grew up on Central Park West and has lived in Manhattan all her life. She and her husband have a summer home in Quogue on Long Island and she has sold properties in the Hamptons. They have one married child and are the grandparents of two boys and a girl.
